The Forever Friends Appeal’s Annual Partner’s Reception was held on Thursday 1st November at St Michaels Without. The event is a way to celebrate the fundraising achievements of the charity’s new Corporate, Community and Family Partner Partners in 2018 and a fantastic opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to them for the incredible support that has been given by presenting them with an award in recognition of their amazing support over the years.
The Forever Friends Appeal, together with members of the RUH Executive team were delighted to officially present Helen Starkie Solicitor with their ‘Corporate Partner fundraising Plaque. This was to recognise their fantastic support over the past 3 years and raising £10,000 towards patient care at the RUH. Helen Starkie Solicitors first came on board in 2015 with the RUH Will Month scheme and have continued to provide their support every year since, showing such fantastic commitment to this important initiative by giving their time for free to write over a hundred professional Wills during the month of September and waiving their fees to donate.
The Forever Friends Appeal recognises Helen Starkie solicitor as one of our highly valued Corporate Partners and presenting a plaque to them on the evening as well as being acknowledged within the hospital, is our way of being able to say thank you for the wonderful support received over the years. We truly hope they will continue with their support through RUH Will Month each year that helps raise awareness to the public of the importance of having an up to Will and the benefits of using the local services of a professional legal firm.
